Weekly Journal - 10.28

We took the week off, as a family, to take a break and to explore San Diego a bit! We had never been so it was such a fun little trip. Super easy to do with kiddos.

Here’s a rundown of what we did!

1) We landed in LA and decided it would be fun to go to Universal for a day. Granger got a taste of home with a VooDoo doughnut (headquartered in Portland) and got to explore Hogwarts!

2) We went to the San Diego zoo and really enjoyed seeing a Fennec Fox and the Red Pandas. So stinking cute.

3) Go to explore the Gaslamp District and loved the architecture there.

4) Also went to the Aquarium and although mildly disappointing, the kids loved it.

5) Took the kiddos to the San Diego New Children’s Museum and they loved exploring and romping around there.

6) Our hotel had an (adult) Halloween Party on one of the nights we were there. They let Granger in to see the decorations before the party started and it was Stranger Things themed. No, he hasn’t seen the show. But, he thought it was the coolest thing to get early access!
