1) Site Sightings
On Monday Juliana and Hannah did a site walk for a potential new project and found these clown baby head sculptures that are semi terrifying. We started a new Instagram highlights section called “Sight Sightings” to document all of the hilarious & strange things we find on-site. Go check out our page! @strucksured
2) Team Twinning
There have been two times this week when the team has shown up wearing close to the same outfit! We love channeling each other’s aesthetic. Even our photographer, Christina, caught the vibe.
3) Jobsite Visits
We stopped by two projects to check on the progress. The first one is a kitchen, living room, and laundry room remodel on a 100-year-old home. This project has been throwing us some curve balls as you can probably imagine with any 100-year-old home. After opening up the walls and exposing the structure of the house we realized there was a lot more work to be done than we originally anticipated. Our next stop - #Hillsidegembox - is a project we have been working on since the beginning. It is also our second-largest project to date! We are so excited to see it come together. The painters are almost finished and we are feeling really good about how it is turning out.
4) Cabinets!
We have recently received multiple orders for cabinets. Upon their arrival, each cabinet will be labeled according to its designated installation order, streamlining the process for our installation team. In instances where the original installation sequence changes post-order submission, we will promptly update the labels to accurately reflect the revised order. This proactive approach minimizes potential errors and ensures seamless installation procedures.
5) New Office Things
After a few months of patiently waiting we finally got our beautiful countertops installed and we couldn’t be more happy with the outcome. Now the real hustle starts to finish this office jsut in time for summer! I can’t wait to spend the summer hanging out on our deck, working with the team, and feeling settled in our new space!
I hope the sunshine over the weekend treats you well! Get out and do something for yourself and soak up the rays as we all desperately need it!
Cheers!
